The NSW EPA:

- Engages with the community and use social research to inform our priorities, policies and programs
- Publishes scientific research and monitor trends in the state of the environment
- Offers advice and incentives to help business and industry improve their environmental performance
Our vision: Healthy Environment, Healthy Community, Healthy Business
We believe healthy ecosystems are the foundation for healthy communities, a healthy economy and for enhancing liveability.
Newtecpoly is also the name behind eWood®, a unique plastic wood substitute made from the mixed plastics using e-waste products such as computers, car parts and printer cartridges.
The founding members of the Council – Alex Fraser Group, Cleanaway, J. J. Richards and Sons, Solo Resource Recovery, Sims Metal Management, Suez, Toxfree, Remondis, ResourceCo and Veolia – represent the majority of the private capital invested into waste management and recycling assets in Australia.
While the Council is a national body, it also works pro-actively with Affiliates, which represent the interests of the industry at a State level. Through collective action, the Council and its State-based partners form a network representing the industry Australia wide.
